They say that distance is just a test to see how far love can travel. Apparently love doesn’t just go the distance, it can also transverse time as well. Jacque and Dan first met when they were 15 years old and even went to Jr prom together. They remained great friends, even after going off to college, but they did not officially started dating until they both returned home to Arizona after graduating. After 6 years of being Jacque’s rock through medical school, Dan proposed with a pizza. Planning a wedding while doing an out of state residency proved to be tough, but with the support of their amazing family and vendors, they made it happen. Jacque wanted the focus of their wedding to be on family, friends, great food and music, so Meant2Be Events started to work their magic. Their gorgeous wedding was an outdoor wedding officiated by their best friend Eric. Afterwards, their reception was an outdoor dinner party with Mediterranean inspired flavors. Jacque said “My favorite memory from the day was our non-traditional ceremony which was written by Dan and officiated by our best friend Eric. Dan’s sisters and their husbands gave personalized readings that had everyone laughing and crying. It was such a special moment to share with Dan and with all of our closest family and friends.”
